During the autumn term, like many schools, many papers were remarked and upgraded.A large number of these upgrades have not yet been counted into the DfE figures.


There are examples of individual success at GCSE.

  1.       11 pupils achieved at least 1 grade 9. There were 19 grade 9’s achieved.
  2.       25 pupils achieved at least 1 grade 8. There were 59 grade 8’s achieved.

              iii.      45 pupils achieved at least 1 grade 7. There were 93 grade 7’s achieved.

  1. Examples of subject success at 9-7 (A*-A)
  2.       English achieved 21%
  3.       Geography achieved 27% (In 2017 56% of the pupils achieved a Grade A or better)

              iii.      History achieved 15%

  1.       RE achieved 21% with 7 pupils achieving a grade 9.
  2. Three pupils studied in a maths enrichment class Additional Maths (A-Level), 2 of these pupils achieved a grade C. A remarkable achievement on top of their 10 other GCSE examinations, and the 1 hour a week enrichment available to them.
