Dear Sir/Madam, Sorry for the lateness of this letter, but it was and has remained important to me to contact you in relation to your schools Sports Tour in October 2021 in Villarreal, Spain. I was present in my capacity as a professional sports coach, and looked after the needs of your school’s netballers.

I would like to point out over many years of being a professional athlete and a coach, I have travelled all over the world, and have been part of many schools and club’s sports tours. It is important for you to know the students and staff from St Marys were an absolute pleasure to be around and were a credit to your school.

The student athletes worked hard during our coaching sessions, were focused, receptive and were FUN! The student body collectively were polite and respectful at all times, not just to myself but also to Spanish members of public; of which I witnessed numerous times. The staff were very professional, organised and driven to make this tour successful whilst recognising the needs of every student present. They made me feel very welcome and involved me in just about everything they could. I was made to feel “part of the team”. In conclusion I was very proud to be part of the St Marys team, and St Marys Catholic High school should be proud of everyone who took part in the tour.

I would jump at the chance to be part of any future sports tours involving St Marys. I hope you all have a very successful 2022.
