Exams Invigilator (£12.00 per hour, to be reviewed on the 1st April 2025) Required from May 2025
St. Mary’s Catholic High School Leyland are looking to appoint a number of new Exams Invigilators for the upcoming exams season. For this academic year, invigilators are required from May 2025 then again in November for our mock exams.
We are seeking to recruit reliable, efficient and highly organised individuals to assist with the running of the school’s external and internal (mock) examinations.
Responsibilities will include effective and accurate communication with staff and candidates, distribution and collection of examination papers, invigilation of examination sessions and ensuring compliance with exam board regulations at all times.
Due to the nature of the position being advertised, working patterns need to be flexible and would be by arrangement with the Exams Officer and Business Manager. No prior experience of invigilation is necessary, full training will be given.
The school continues to be a ‘Good’ school, with the latest Ofsted visit being in January 2020.

The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, and also sign a declaration to confirm whether or not they have previously been an invigilator, and whether they have any current maladministration or malpractice sanctions applied to them.
