My name is Mrs. Womersley and I am the Careers Guidance Advisor at St Mary’s Catholic High School.

I am a fully qualified Level 6 Careers practitioner with many years’ experience in this field.  I support pupils with identifying their skills and explore their options after yr11 and at other key transition times.

I will be working closely with Mrs. Pilling and assisting with career events throughout the year. I will also be involved with mock interviews, careers fairs, taster days, workshops and lunchtime drop-in sessions. In order to support students find their future, I will be actively using the online career resource ‘Unifrog’ which is a user-friendly resource that helps students to make the best choices, and submit the strongest applications. Each pupil at St. Mary's High School receives their own personal Unifrog account which they can use to explore a wide range of information in one single, impartial, user-friendly platform.

I will be delivering 1-2-1 career interviews to all year 11 pupils in which we focus upon understanding strengths, areas for development, predicted grades, work experience and interests/hobbies. We will explore all post 16 pathways such as college, sixth form and apprenticeships and I will offer you support and guidance in choosing a pathway that suits you.

I am looking forward to meeting with you and please keep an eye out for up and coming details in form and on social media.
